✨ Natures Secret 💦
“I could literally feel within my being I was making the right choice”
It’s been a year since I’ve cut or colored my hair — something that’s never happened since I’ve begun cutting it. I haven’t had any split ends up until this week, and it’s because I haven’t been going in the ocean as frequently as I have been this past year.
Since we arrived in Florida last November, I noticed a huge shift in my hair. Prior to coming here I had been dealing with hair thinning/hair loss. Something I’ve never struggled with up until recently other than the typical postpartum hair loss. I knew it was related to my stress levels but I didn’t know what to do about it. I tried oils, colostrum, and then finally shifted my diet.
After being a vegetarian for over five years, I decided it was time to implement organic grass fed red meat back into my diet. I had watched a Netflix documentary “What the health” that changed my viewpoint on the meat industry and opened my eyes. Due to karmic purposes, they have to tell you what they’re doing lol - and although I do agree with not eating meat that’s processed — pretty much anything besides organic, grass fed — is not healthy for you; I had to think about the big picture overall.
Was this just another way they’ve implanted the thought that red meat was 100% unhealthy when in all actuality we need it to survive? Not even survive, but to authentically thrive?
Perhaps I had been wrong, and decided to give red meat a try again — not surprisingly, my body responded well. I could literally feel within my being I was making the right choice each time I ate it, and that felt so damn good. Along with that, I noticed my hair becoming thicker. I’ll be real - I love Lauryn Bosstick (I’m sure you guys do too?) and when I heard her share her experience with her hair thickening after implementing more red meat into her diet it made me really want to give it a try again and I’m glad I did.
NOW, back to the real reason why my hair has been so HEALTHY. Nature. The fucking ocean. It dawned on me a couple of months ago like omg no wonder native Americans had such beautiful, long luscious hair. Something about the natural impurities of water in nature cleanses your hair and lets the old hair go (falls out) while keeping the remaining hair healthy. Is this another reason our oceans, rivers, and lakes are being destroyed? Because they’re actually so god damn healing AND THEY KNOW IT! And why they want us indoors - on our phones, computers, or tvs plugged into something that’s not made for us?
I encourage you to get into any kind of natural body of water on a regular basis and see the shifts for yourself 🫶
It’s been nice sharing with you ☺️
Until next time 💫
xx,
Lex
